Our Approach to Counseling
The foundation of our counseling is a whole person approach integrating psychology
and faith, recognizing the unity of mind, body and spirit.
We affirm the worth and uniqueness
of each person who comes. We are devoted to the healing and wholeness of the individual in the
context of his or her life circumstances - in the family, in couple relationships,
in work and in friendship.

Training and Educational Center
In addition to providing professional counseling services,
La Vie also educates and trains the next generation of Christian
therapists, offering positions each year to Psychological
Assistants, Marriage and Family Therapy Interns and practicum
students.
Our senior training staff give many hours of their time each year with little or no compensation to accomplish this mission. We are able to do this thanks to the support we receive from those who make tax deductible donations to the work of La Vie. La Vie is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. La Vie is also an educational center, and our psychotherapists routinely
provide professional presentations to churches, schools, health professionals, and client groups.
