Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee
Davante Jennings is a graduate student in Pepperdine University's Clinical Psychology program with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I appreciate the opportunity to connect with others and affirm through storytelling. There is much to be learned through our experiences and the stories that keep them alive. Sometimes these narratives are reflective and empowering of our identities, but not always. I look forward to working with you on crafting the story that is yours and ultimately told by you. In our therapeutic space, I aim to walk alongside you in the path towards finding, empowering, and affirming oneself, time and time again.
As someone who is frequently trying to close the gap between how I am perceived by others and how I wish to be, I can relate to those whose stories do not always stem positively. I am passionate about working with those who want to tell their fullest truth. I hope to make therapy accessible to those who have been otherwise silenced because of their race, gender/gender identity and expression, sexuality, veteran/police status, victim-survivor status, or any past life experiences. I look forward to working together.
