Professional Clinical Counselor Trainee
Austin is a former Division-One athlete who knows, first-hand, the effect that mental health has on performance, drive, and emotional well-being. He aims to support clients and offer a perspective that enhances the strength of the
individual within their system. He believes in the therapeutic power of human agency and concurrently offers clinical care and understanding as a means to optimize therapeutic growth.
Austin graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Psychology and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oregon State University. He is also a Registered Behavior Technician with experience in clinically applying behavioristic principles for populations with disabilities. He practices at La Vie under the supervision of Joanne Weidman, MFT #MFT40893.
