Do you sometimes feel alone or anxiously pursue or avoid connection with God and others? How we experience ourselves can affect how we relate to God and others. Humans naturally desire connection with one another and are created for connection. We innately question if God and others will be accessible when needed, responsive to us, and emotionally engaged. We can find ourselves getting stuck in patterns while pursuing these answers.

La Keeta Behn-Vasquez believes that you are the expert on your life experiences. She will provide a safe space to be yourself without expectation. Her approach to therapy is collaborative, culturally responsive, attachment focused, and she explores relational influences preventing or disrupting connection to self, God, and others. Your work together will focus on discovering buried emotions that can help to explain reactionary emotions and patterned behaviors. La Keeta wants to connect with you while you explore connecting with new parts of yourself, God, and others.

La Keeta is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee. She is completing her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute, has earned her B.A. in Psychology from National University, and has begun the Emotionally Focused Therapy certification process. She provides support to couples, adults, adolescents, and families under the supervision of Kelsey Sima, LMFT #118483.
