Kimberlie Zakarian is a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee
under the supervision of
Joanne Weidman, LMFT
and Dr. Curtis Miller.
Kimberlie has been working with families for the past sixteen
years in church and community settings.
Areas of interest include anxiety, depression, stress
management, parenting issues, marital therapy, women’s issues,
teen and children’s issues, bipolar disorder and victims of sexual abuse and
domestic violence. She incorporates Attachment Theory, Bowenian
Theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Kimberlie Zakarian is a certified Family Wellness Instructor and
speaks regularly on individual and family issues. Kimberlie is
also trained to use PREPARE/ENRICH Program for the counseling of
couples married or contemplating marriage. She is qualified to
administer inventories and provide couples with specific
feedback about strengths and issues.
Kimberlie Zakarian is the founder and president of Holy House
Ministries in which she speaks on individual, family,
leadership, and business conflict issues. She has been a
columnist for the Los Angeles Times for the past five years
writing her column Family Faith and meeting with families
regarding conflict. She also writes extensively for periodicals
and is a published author. She regularly holds monthly community
parenting classes free to the public. She also develops marriage
enrichment curriculum and conducts retreats.
Kimberlie Zakarian is an ordained minister and currently works
as a Marriage and Family Pastor. She has also worked as a youth
and assistant pastor. Kimberlie is presently completing her
Masters of Science in Marital and Family Therapy at Fuller
Theological Seminary.
