ROBIN LEONARD, PSY.D.
Is stress, worry, sadness, anger or loss beginning to overwhelm you? Do you feel your relationships are starting to unravel? Has life headed in a different direction than you intended? Are problems causing disruption to your sleep, eating and overall functioning? Have you lost the balance in your life?
There are moments throughout life that can become extremely difficult. It is during this time that you may feel you have no one to talk to, no one who will really understand, maybe you’ve exhausted all your resources, you feel overwhelmed and have a prolonged sense of helplessness and sadness. It is during these difficult times you may feel vulnerable, alone, trapped or scared. I would like to offer you an opportunity to come in and share what’s on your mind, talk openly and confidentially about your concerns and feelings in a supportive and safe environment. Psychotherapy is a collaborative effort between the patient and the therapist. Therefore I work with my patients to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life. I see therapy as an opportunity to explore life challenges, as well as relational patterns and gain a greater understanding of who you are as a unique individual. I am passionate about helping individuals gain a better understating of who they are so that they can move beyond the grips of anxiety and depression and start to restore relationships, increase daily functioning and live a more authentic life.
I hold a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. I am currently working on licensure by the state of California; therefore I am under the direct supervision of Dr. James Bickley #PSY10832.
