KELLY AGUIRRE, M.A., MFT
It is a privilege to walk alongside you on the journey toward your best self. It is my hope to help facilitate change that will cultivate joy, purpose, and fulfillment in your life.
I believe that one’s past provides a template for what they may be experiencing in the present. I trust in the transformational nature of the therapeutic relationship and strive to create an environment where you are fully known. Although therapy requires significant emotional vulnerability, it is my hope that through our conversations, you are able to develop authenticity and a strong sense of self.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a B.A. in Sociology from California State University, Northridge. I completed a M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Azusa Pacific University and received the clinical excellence award upon graduation.
An area of clinical interest is Maternal Mental Health. This includes individuals struggling with miscarriage/infertility, peri-natal and post-natal depression/anxiety, as well as those who are seeking assistance creating balance between individuality, self-care, and their role as a mother.
I am a member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and the San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association (SGVPA). I am also certified as an Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, a program designed to strengthen premarital and marital relationships.
