Kathryn Otis, Ph.D.
Dr. Kathryn Otis is a Psychology Intern under the supervision of James Bickley, Ph.D. She holds a Ph.D. from Fuller Theological Seminary.Kathryn describes her approach to therapy as eclectic. She uses psychodynamic and cognitive therapy to help her clients process and understand their patterns of feelings, thoughts and behaviors. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment that promotes psychological and spiritual growth. Kathryn has led groups in Conflict Resolution and in Assertiveness Training. Her areas of interest include working with teenagers and adults in challenging relationships and major life transitions.
Kathryn is also trained to use the PREPARE/ENRICH Program for the counseling of couples married or contemplating marriage. She is qualified to administer inventories and provide couples with specific feedback about strengths and challenges.
